This subdirectory contains equivalent
lexical entries for the examples using
Mule-encoded Japanese hiragana, katakana
and Kanji. The files were created in
1995/6 and used to generate examples
under Unix versions of KPML and Mule.

This information now needs to be made
accessible to the generator again to be
used. It will most likely be replaced
by Unicode when the generator has been
updated to read Unicode lexicon files.
